Canesten External Cream contains clotrimazole 1% w/w, an antifungal medicine used to treat skin fungal infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, and yeast rashes. The active ingredient works by stopping the fungus from growing and spreading on the skin. It also helps reduce itching, redness, burning, and irritation linked to fungal infections. The cream is applied directly to the affected skin area once or twice daily as advised. Regular use helps clear the infection and prevent its return when the full course is completed.
