Tamiflu (Oseltamivir)

Tamiflu contains oseltamivir and is used to treat and prevent influenza (flu) infection. It works by stopping the flu virus from spreading inside the body. This helps reduce common flu symptoms such as fever, body pain, tiredness, and sore throat. Tamiflu works best when started within the first two days after flu symptoms begin. It may also be given to people who were in close contact with someone infected. The medicine helps shorten illness time and supports faster recovery.
