Norinyl-1

Norinyl 1 is a combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains two active ingredients: ethinylestradiol 35 micrograms and norethisterone 1 mg. Norinyl 1 works by stopping ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and changing the womb lining to reduce the chance of pregnancy. When taken daily at the same time, it also helps regulate menstrual cycles, reduce heavy bleeding, and ease period pain for many women.
