Noriday

Noriday is a progestogen-only contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains norethisterone 350 micrograms as the active ingredient. Noriday works mainly by thickening cervical mucus, which stops sperm from reaching the egg, and by making the womb lining less suitable for pregnancy. In some women, it may also affect ovulation. It is taken every day at the same time without any breaks. Noriday is often chosen by women who cannot take oestrogen.
