Marvelon

Marvelon is a combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy and regulate menstrual cycles. It contains two active ingredients: Desogestrel 150 micrograms and Ethinylestradiol 30 micrograms. Marvelon works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and altering the womb lining to reduce the chance of fertilisation. It is taken once daily at the same time each day for effective contraception. Marvelon can also help reduce menstrual pain, heavy bleeding, and cycle irregularities.
