Femodette

Femodette is a low-dose combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains gestodene 75 micrograms and ethinylestradiol 20 micrograms. These hormones work by stopping ovulation, thickening cervical mucus, and changing the womb lining to prevent fertilisation. Femodette is taken once daily and is often chosen by women who prefer a lower oestrogen dose while still getting reliable and effective birth control.
